Any chicken people from McHenry county or Lake county? I'm currently in Massachusetts but I'm looking to move out to Spring Grove in the near future to live with my grandpa or live with my uncle. From the multiple times I've been out there, I haven't seen many people with any chickens, maybe one or two houses with them. Since it's a long drive out there, I don't think it would be safe to bring my small flock with me so I was hoping to find someone in the area who I can buy some from once I get out there since my grandpa always tells me that if I move out there, I can keep whatever i want!

Ok, I need to liquidate my bantam flock, the first to go are going to be white feather legged bantams, they are a cross between White Leghorn male and Blue, Brown Red, Wheatan, black, and white bantam cochins. If you are interested shoot me a PM, im near bloomington and champaign and will deliver for free if you take all, have like 20-30 of these guys LOL.

Sadly I wont be able to make it up there for that, I will hopefully be getting my eagle scout project out of the way at that time, last weekend I can do it before i age out.

I'm a new chicken-keeper on the west side Chicago. My eight chickens are 3 months old, and low and behold, one of them has proven to be a rooster!

Well as we know one can't keep roosters in the city.

So, this beautiful Buff Orpington cockerel is free to a good home.

Hopefully someone in the region who lives where it is legal to keep roosters will want him.

And will be able to come pick him up, because we do not have a car.
