hello everyone from Ill !!!
we are in Beecher, about 43 miles south of Chicago, and 20 mile north of Kankakee, 9 miles east of Peotone, 4 miles from the Indiana state line !
Great Poultry Auction in Lowell, In. every Monday, also has other livestock. Lots of Fun !
Goofy me, paid $17 each for buff Or's ( young Pullets) because they are so pretty ! Starting to lay , tho. Mostly Barred Rocks, and Jacques, the love rooster keeps them all happy !
The farm life for me !

Hi All!
New on this sight, so much info.
I live in Northwest IL in a town where "poultry" is not allowed.
Poultry is in a pot, I have chickens. Have a farm in Blandinsville in west central IL that we will be moving to in less than 2 years I hope.
Had A small banty mix rooster from his first day, to his last.
After 8 years he decided he was tougher than a raccoon.
I have all hens. 1RIR 1 BR and 3 pullets all were raised from a few days old. 1 araucana, 2 wyandottes 1 silver, 1 golden laced are my young'ins
Could not stand to be without my feathered buds.
Hope I can continue to keep them incognito till we move to the farm.
