I'm a chicken hoarder

I have 23 chickens, I love them all. I just came home from the county fair with 6 more bantams! HA I bought them from the 4H kids. They didn't want to take them home. I couldn't resist.

I'm a hoarder too I just bought 3 quails yesterday before remembering we don't have a spare pen!!

I feel ya. We started out w 2 for eggs...Now we have 10.

As well as 2 ducks, 2 cats and a dog.

Yeah, my daughter and my husband bought 2 chicks last year in March. Then we had 9, then this year we ordered 25 and got 2 free, lost a few on the way last year of course. I sold 13 of those to a neighbor for eggs too. I bought 7 this spring from a 4H kid because I couldn't wait for the 25. Sold a few more to some lady.
All I know is I went to the fair today and had 23 chickens at home. Now I have 29. Oh and tommy turkey too. We hatched him out last year in May.
I know a few of mine are roosters, we'll see what happens with them.

I have to take pictures tomorrow so you guys can help me identify 3 of them. I have no idea what they are.
1 is a golden laced cochin
1 brown leghorn
1 salmon faverelle ( she was the grand reserve champion at the fair) she sold for 200+ in the auction but they donated the money and didn't want the bird

HAHA welcome to the hoarder family Sheila!! lol

p.s. one of the chickens has a big black fuzzy ball on it's head too, it's not Polish or Frizzle or Silkie. The body almost looks like a leghorn shape. That one was stressed when we got home, I hope she's ok in the morning.
