I'm a chicken hoarder

Actually - there was a real chicken hoarder on the show "Hoarders"

I am not a hoarder. My hubby is however, even though they are my chickens and all he does is feed treats and play with them. I was trying to cut back the number I had so I told him to give his friend 4 or 5 of our chicks. He gave him 3, and picked up a poult and a leghorn in exchange.

A few months ago I needed one duck after I last one to keep my lone duckling company, came home with 4. But whenever anyone asks they are all MY chickens.

I'm in the SE part of the state in Washington Co.
Ahh well, I can be a hoarder. I know these little chickens have a good home and didn't end up on a dinner plate. I wish I could've saved them all!
It's going up to 93 here today. The chickens have their air conditioner on in the coop and they can walk outside when they want to, to a nice 150x50 private fenced in chicken yard with lots of places to hide and a very large shade tree. They have it made!

I have the 6 new ones separated for now. If the coop gets too warm and the AC can't keep up they will have to be let outside somewhere. I hope they will be okay. They are show birds so I don't know if they know how to be outside and mingle with that many chickens. I guess they'll learn..

We were only going to get 6 hens and maybe a rooster...
Now we have 18 chickens in total, two of which are roosters XD
AND the "I hate chickens" guy of mine wants a Frizzle and a Polish ext year ^^

OH GOSH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nope, i am NOT a hoarder. NOT a hoarder... I started with 12 chx last year, lost 4, adopted another 2. this year i was only going to get 3. ended up with 6, gave away 2, then got 3 Pekin ducks... ducks went by by. found a great home. My hens been broody seems like forever, cant get her back to normal. So i let her sit on originally 2 eggs. um, then 3, what the heck not all of them are going to hatch right?????

NOPE, I am NOT a hoarder. but i think i may be on the verge... i am looking for another tajmahal to put up.....

I want a few silkies, a pair of polish.... OH GOD NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
