I'm a chicken momma

Okay so i have two little chickies I got yesterday, we can't get the rest until Wednesday. I have noticed one is always sleeping, she doesn't go to eat she just lays in the same spot and sleeps, I'm not sure if it's normal or not.

She also opens her beak a lot and is breathing a lot faster than the other more lively one.

Could be a problem, might not---kinda like my Wife's fainting goats---the male just lays around most of the day---the female is into and on anything she can find. Just keep them at the proper temp, give them plenty of room to get away from any heat, food and water and Monitor the baby. If you see a problem--just ask.

Have you showed her where the food is? You can tap on the container (like her mama would do), to show her the food. For water, dip her beak gently in the water so she knows that's where she drinks. She may sleep a lot because she is younger, had a rougher hatch, or is just plain hungry & thirsty.

She was eating at first, and drinking but her health just went downhill, now she is reduced to not being able to move and her breath is weak.. I think she is dying but I don't know why.. She was healthy when I got her
