I got the phone call from the post office Wednesday morning at 7:30 informing me that the "stork" had arrived! All nine baby girls survived the transit very well (from MyPetChickens) and were quite vocal in expressing their displeasure with their cramped quarters. All resisted the "dip their beaks in the water" procedure but figured it out on their own quite quickly. The pictures aren't very good because the only lighting is the brooder light, so I'll try to get better ones tonight. There are three RIR, 3 Barred Rocks, and 3 Silver-laced Wyandottes. I suspect one is a roo, but time will tell.
