Hi!
My name is Natalia but call me Nati or Addicted To Chickens! I recently bought 30 baby chicks but 2 passed away. I am new to raising chickens. Here are some questions I'm going to answer:
(1) How many chickens do you have right now?
We had 30 but now we have 28.
(2) What breeds do you have?
2 Black Australorps, 4 Buff Orpingtons, 3 New Hampshire Reds, 2 Silkes, 3 Polish Crested, 4 Rhode Island Reds, 3 Light Brahma's, 3 Barred Rocks, and 4 Guinea Fowls.
(3) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Their delicious eggs!
(4) What are some of your other hobbies?
Playing the flute, going outside, and reading.
(5) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 sisters, and 1 brother. Me and my sister also raise rabbits.
I am glad to now to be part of BYC! Do you guys have any suggestions about raising chickens?
