We recently purchased our first flock, six beautiful lil chicks, 3 reds and 3 tetra tints. I've wanted to have chickens for a while and finally convinced the hubby to get some 
While researching having chickens I came across BYC. This site has been incredibly helpful so far and I decided I should finally join in on the chats! We've had our babies now for about 3 weeks and they are doing great! Super excited about life with my feathered friends! Here are some pics, the day we brought them home and today.

and Welcome To BYC! Congratulations on your new chicks! They really have grown haven't they! Those breeds should give you a lot of eggs. From that comb at three weeks I would say you probably have a little cockerel there.
