Hi my name is Lisa. I'm new at all of this first time chick owner. We currently bought 2 sw 2 Australorps(I think), and 2 barred rocks. So any and all pointers to these breeds would be greatly appreciated!

Also, don't be afraid to handle them either. This will help tame them up. Carry them around the house, get them on the living room floor, just work with them. By the time they head out to the coop, they will be so bonded with you, you will have them sitting on your lap. Literally. My Aussies are huge on lap sitting. They just devour the attention.
