I am very new, in fact I am still awaiting delivery of my chicks...this is something I have been wanting to do forever and decided to jump in with both feet. I will have a total of 12 chicks and 1 rooster. 3 Easter Egger Chicks and an Egger-rooster

(pardon the pun...but I just can't resist...); 3 Barred Rocks; 3 Gold Hybrid; 3 Orpingtons. I am so excited

.(yep, couldn't resist). I have been reading and researching, trying to learn as much as I could about raising chicks so that I wouldn't be stumbling along, when I stumbled onto this site. I like to sew, quilt, embroider, etc., when I can. I have 3 children...well, if you count the hubster...4...LOL Seriously, I am truly blessed!!! Well I will try to post some pictures when I get them and put up a page...until then...I will probably do some fly by lurking preparing for my new babies. Thank you for all the wonderful information and inspiration.
