Hiya, and a belated welcome to BYC!

We have two barn cats that we had adopted. They wander among the adult chickens who don’t fear them.

I would never trust them or any cat alone around baby chicks though.

Hi! I have a cat that will sleep on top of the brooder when he gets the chance . I've been lucky though and my cats have never been that interested in harming the chicks (they've always been in a secure brooder or supervised, though.)

Once they are out of the brooder, they usually seem to be fairly able to handle their own. I hope you have good luck with everyone though! And don't worry, the chickens and BYC will have you trained up in no time!
