Help! Found strange eggs.
Yesterday I found about 30 eggs in a grassy ditch next to our gravel road. They were in 2 groupings and about 8 scattered nearby... They are not from our chickens... They are larger eggs, light colored, some almost white-ish with a slight pink tint and some blue/green tint. None were cracked. We live in Joplin, MO and the temp was about 50 degrees yesterday. They were not there when I left to run into town around 10 am, and were there when I came home around 4 pm. Duck?? Goose?? A lot of birds migrating flying over heading south... wondered if anyone has heard of migrating birds 'emergency landing' to lay some eggs?? Strangest thing!! Please help me identify them :) I gathered up 14 and put them in my incubator (maybe we will know in about a month)

I attached some pics - they are about 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 inch long. They appeared sometime within about 6 hours, and I have not seen anything try to claim them.
