Hi y'all! I'm a newbie [within the last year] at having a chicken family! I have 17 in my flock.... 2 three year old bantams, one being a Golden Seabright and the other a BB Old English (so I believe). Then there are 2 RIRs, 2 Barred Rocks, 2 (what I think are) Black Marans, a Buff Orp, a White one (?) Unknown - lays cream to light brown eggs, not white , a Black & white one (?) Unknown - don't know what color eggs (she was almost all black as a chick). Those 9 were given to me and raised from chicks. I have acquired a white Silkie banty, a white ? (Speckled) banty, 2 Silver Seabright banties. There are 2 banty roos in my flock, one being a Silver Seabright and the other a brown Silkie. I'm looking forward to learning more thru BYC!

. You have one eclectic flock! Theres lots of info in the learning centre and searching for your state thread may also help you to get to know members local to you. We are friendly bunch and we try to help each other out where we can, so please feel at home, and if you can't find answers or need some advice or simply reassurance - get posting!

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! It's sounds like your flock is growing well there and you have a lovely mix of birds there. Be sure to ask questions that you may have, everyone here to help and very friendly.

Enjoy BYC and all the chicken chat :frow
