Like my other brothers and sisters in the flock, we are clueless as to what we are:

A bantam is a miniature chicken, about half the size of a full size chicken. Are these your first chickens? I hope you enjoy them I find them to be alot of fun. Also this forum is FULL of good info, welcome.

We love them, Troy!! We have let them roam free and they just stay around the house, so far. They are very funny and full of surprises! Last night we found them in a tree sitting on one of the low hanging branches.

Bantams are 1/4 to 1/5 the weight of there larger counterpart.
Now there are some True Bantams and Breeds that have no larger counterpart.
