Hello Hello,
In RL I go by Sandy. I have ordered my very first batch of chicks and bought a coop... None have even arrived yet. That's how new I am. So I'm reading forums and watching youtubes on chick care. The chicks and I will grow up together. Ihave kept coming back to this site so decided to join.

Welcome to BYC
From Jacksonville FL

Soon your chicks will be here. Try not to read all the scary stuff on the emergencies until you have to post and read there!

I wish you good luck and beware a small flock grows because we are all chicken looneys and have this wierd issue with what we like to call chicken math......... Our small flocks are ever growing!

Thank you so much! I like your little ... sub post at the bottom . I have 4 grown kids. 4 grandkids which I babysit in the summer. A Great Dane. A part-time Papillon (share with my special son.) A cat. Renters downstairs. Two boarded horses and my own fat Haflinger mare named Moon Pie. I feel very comfortable here. :)

Hello and welcome....so glad you joined BYC

Good luck with your new chicks. How exciting!!!

I like your introduction especially the part about the "part-time " Papillon, I never thought of it that way. I used to have those too - my sister's dog when they went on vacation.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. This expectant mother is anxiously awaiting her new brood. :)
