I caved and bought 6 chicks from the local feed and grain supply with my little granddaughter yesterday. Last night I read my email and eFowl.com is shipping the 15 minimum chick order about May 30th so they should arrive a couple days after that. I LOVE my little 6-Chix! I'm not sure they are all what I was told they are but that's ok. I'm going with a more eclectic mix of chix.
 
I was told the top lighter colored one is an Easter Egg/Ameracauna. And the red-faced chick (below) is a Black Sex Link but doesn't look like the other 2 BSLs behind her. The little "beardy" one, far right, in the back behind the RIR chick was said to be EE/Americauna as well but looks more like a penguin chick..Haha.

My 15 + 2 extra BSL girls arrived on Friday morning at 6:30 a.m. exactly the way eFowl.com said they would. All still thriving. I've got the first 6 Chix (two weeks old) running to me when I shake the freeze-dried mealworm container. The coop arrived and the first coat of Killz is on the inside. Fence people are coming mid-week for hen pen and other work. Chick life is progressing.
