It's too bad that he didn't get to go out on the lake because it's really pretty in Heber Springs. I have spent many hours on the lake and learned to ski on the lake.

I really miss my husband when he's gone. He at times has to go off for 2 weeks and it's tough. My DH is so easy going that he goes along with what ever I want to do. In fact he does so much to help around the house he is sorely missed.

Now saying that I enjoy going off for the night with my sisters or friends.

I hope he has a safe trip home.

Brahma, I'm sure your missing him a lot, but it is nice to have a break from them from time to time.

My DH started calving out heifers this past week so I haven't seen much of him seems like he's gone.

Lucky you brahmamama. My house (and me) is just now recovered from my SO being home sick for a week and now, after he works tonight, he'll be off for 2 weeks on vacation! Then he works two weeks and is off for 2 more!

Like hooligan said, we may have had 70s yesterday and it was beautiful. Today is totally different. Tornados this morning and snow tonight. Don't tell me there's no such thing as global warming!

Amen, Chickflick! I do have to say, I miss his stronger back right now though...I can handle most of the chores myself, but I overdid it last night and today, carrying two pails of corn downstairs for the cornstove...middle back feels like I have a knot in it now. I should have just did one pail at a time, lol!

Jackie, that's cool! He did say it was pretty there, yes, to bad he won't get to enjoy it

I hear you on the easy going husband, David is a wonderful guy, not many like him around anymore. Two weeks has to be tough! Thank you for the safe trip wishes

CRW, yes, I think it does us good; hopefully makes us realize sometimes we take each other for granted. Best wishes for you guys, with calving season
