I was worried about doing that so I wrapped a bit of colored tape around next to the plugs. Red for DO NOT UNPLUG on the 'bator lead and Green for the turner lead.

I could have fell over laughing just reading the title.

In my opinion, I think all the huevies will be just fine. I've had broodies take a day off in the middle of incubation, yet have successful hatches. (Okay, okay, maybe 1 egg didn't make it...)

Last February I had a Dark Cornish go broody... I tried breaking her but couldn't so I just gave in. Long story short--- We put her in a hutch in my husband's heated garage with a screen over the top with some books to weigh it down... I went out in the morning to check her and feed and water her and went about my business. About 8 hours later I went to check on her and she wasn't in the hutch--- she was running around the garage in a panic because some how she got out but couldn't get back in... the eggs were cold (55 degrees in the garage)... it was about 1/2 way through the incubation time and I was so upset...

After cussing myself out I just put her back and decided to wait and see what happened--- out of 9 eggs 7 hatched... I think yours will be fine
