I just set a full Incubator, Its been a year and I'm
42 eggs this is what I got.
10 welsummer
12 golden lakenvelder
15 blue Andalusian
5 leghorn cross
My husband he didn't want me to hatch any. But he gave in , this is the story of why.
I'm sick over it, but happy to get to hatch again.
My Blue Andalusian Rooster, had frost bite on his comb. It broke open and was bleeding my hens were picking it so I was going to crate him a few days for it to heal. Well that blue bugger got away.
He was on the lose in the wide open big world.
He wanted back in his coop and I was more that happy to help him back in . But my big dumb horse thought wow I'll try to stomp that blue thing. And my rooster ran crazy into the woods of my neighbors land. We looked for 3 days , and we had the ice storm. So I lost my Blue rooster. I don't think he will come back.
So I told my husband, you cant raise Blue Andalusian with out a blue rooster. So I got my eggs ready and now I'm back on the hatch aholiclic wagon.
And as we all know I needed more chickens.
