Oh, for adorable! :love

If the momma is rejecting it, or it can't keep up, it's perhaps cold. That looks a few days old, maybe a week? It should be at around 85-90F. You could try feeding it wet chick crumbles in case it's hungry.

We've raised a few orphans and leave the TV on. Lights out at night so it sleeps and so can we. After a day or two, they get used to it. A stuffed animal can help too, just make sure there's nothing it can peck at that could be harmful.

I had a chick I raised from a few days old who also became very chirpy at just a couple weeks old. I also have a flock of 14 hens. She is now approaching 5-6 months and she was at the bottom of the order all the way up until very recently, where she seems to be second to last now 😝 chicken hierarchy is so interesting to me... anyway, I didn't take any extra measures for her. Just made sure she was getting her food and water and whatever she needed and she's done just fine. It might be the stress of knowing she's at the bottom that's making her chirp a lot, then again she is awfully young so I would just keep an eye on her growth and her physical condition.

No momma hen got from a tractor supply store it did seem to quiet down once I put them all to bed no lights on when they sleep it does look younger then the rest I got I sure hope it starts to fit in soon and it's in a kennel with 10 chicks
