OMG!! I can't believe that I did not see that! That is usually the kind of thing I notice, and it BUGS me! However, it seems like by about 8:15 PM I tend to lose my ability to spell!! You will notice that if you read my posts!

Oh, I'm so excited - I've found a kindred spirit! Bad spelling and grammar in advertising (and many other things) just drives me batty. Far worst of all - the inappropriate use of the apostrophe S. I swear there's a whole generation of people out there that use it to pluralize everything!

We have a church along the road here which is notorious now for the brutal misspellings on their board outside. Fortunately, my wife works at the newspaper and is able to correct the misspellings in their advertisements at least. But, some of the gems on their board:

The poor bloke with the inability to spell moved away last year. A little bit of pleasure has been removed from my 3 minute drive into town.

I even drive my boss crazy with it. It just sticks out like a bright light to me... he tried to correct me one time with "orthopaedics". I'm like sorry dude, that's how it's spelled! He just kind of bowed his head and walked away
