I have four hens, and my love came in the form or a little red star. My question is has any one heard of red star hens having spurs?

Thank you so much. I've been so worried it was a rooster. I was told red stars do not have spurs. There only three weeks old, and i'm really trying to gain some knowledge.Again thank you so much.

all my babies are still in the house, how does a chicken tractor work? if you can not put the poo in the garden right away because it will burn it up, won't it do the same thing to you yard?

A chicken tractor is a portable coop, often with skids or wheels. That does happen to your yard, but a chicken tractor lessens the impact if you move it frequently. Although, there hasn't been as much problem for us with that as the holes left in the yard from the many dust baths they dig!
