I'm cuckoo for Cuckoo Orpingtons!

As some of you know, I have a little project I'm working on and I think I've finally gotten enough results to show BYC my progress on it.

I am working on creating a line of Cuckoo Orpingtons. Here is what I have to show for it so far:

They start out looking much like a black orp chick. Then their feathers start coming in:

Here is one that is a little farther along:

And another:

Here is one that has a lot more feathers- about 4 weeks:

And here is one at about 4 months:

I'm still working on things but I think I have a good start.

Lighter like the Orpingtons. It's an Orpington. The color is cuckoo.

Another Orp project. I think it is great that if we can't get those lovely birds from Oversea then we will create them ourselves.
