with coons scat appearance largely depends on diet.

coons, whether one or several at once, can put an incredible amount of pressure on things when they pull persistently. if they pull and continue to hold pressure on it, eventually even strong things can give out.

i'd get a came cam and or motion sensors with an alarm so you can figure out what it is and when it's coming and going.

with that information you can lay in wait to let the air of it/them.

Had a cam out, haven't caught anything besides my cat who occasionally hangs outside. I know it wasn't the cat. He for one has no interest in the birds, even when they were chicks. And is actually pretty scared of them. He's come in the coop while I was cleaning before and just laid down while the chickens walked around him. Once hey pecked him he started keeping his distance. I'm pretty sure this was a coon though
