This is my second attempt, a couple of months ago I bought 12 eggs and none hatched so this time I bought 48+ and most were fertile. Now on day 20, three have hatched and six more are in the process, soon I could be overun with Seramas but that would be a good thing.

To me just having a few eggs hatch would of been a success but now, the more the merrier! Yippee!

Now if I'm right, I should keep the chicks in the bator up to 48 hrs before opening it and getting them out right? right now the bator is at 100 degrees and 61% humidity does that sound good?

I'll keep you all posted on furrther developements and I will soon be posting pictures. I can't belive how small they are compared to my other bantams!

YEAH>> I have 8 Serama's in my bator. I had two before and had one hatch from the two. They are due around July 14th. I can't wait. I'm looking for two girls out of the 8 I have my boy and he looks just like your black and yellow one! Here is a pic of him.

He's four weeks old there.

I got some from him on eggbid also. Mine are 7 months old and starting to lay. I got 36 eggs and 20 did not develop but the other 16 hatched. Have culled some of the cockerels for being too large or off type but I guess thats the way it is with seramas. I have heard about quite a few people who have got eggs from him, he must have alot of seramas. I had alot of white chicks also, although none of them stayed white, they ended up a mixture of gold and black or pumpkin or cream or dun. Good luck with your litte guys!
