Very curious--what is ratio of oxine to water?? Do u do this daily--or just long enough for their symptoms to go away? Do u treat their drinking water?

I had difficulty finding a standard dosage for the UH water. So I decided on a happy medium and did two ounces per gallon, so in my UH I have four ounces total. I just got this stuff so I am going to use it twice a day every day, while the chickens are in the coop and a captive audience, and do it until they look and sound better. I will then likely spray down the coop once a week for a while and then do it whenever I clean it out. I just need to get things under control and then use it to prevent any future issues.

I do use it in the drinking water. I have a two gallon bucket that is white and gets hit by the sun. A splash of it will do the trick. My guess is about a quarter tablespoon is as much that goes in. I can't be bothered to measure it out!

Good luck! I received my oxine a few days ago. I can't afford the fogger, so I purchased a preval paint sprayer for $10. I've heard it works.

I posted a three about oxine a few weeks ago, I wanted to know if it was the godsend everyone said it was. Everyone convinced me it was so I got some. You cannot get it local, the cheapest place is revival animal health, and expect to pay $31.98 including shipping.

The
standard mixture is 6.5 oz of oxine to 1 gal water. I mix it in a handheld pressurized sprayer with the nozle on fines mist setting and mist down everyone and everything after they have gone to roost in the evening. I have noticed an improvement in that annoying little sneeze. In fact it is gone.

Here is the link to the thread about it.
