Im getting 25 new Sumatra Chix HELP!!!!

Well here's the deal, Wed. March 18 2009 Im getting 25 new Sumatra Bantam Chicks. I have had sumatras for a long time but i've only had one baby and didnt even raise it. I have heard they die easy and i dont want that to happen to any of them. So can you guys, and girls give me some tips? Please:yiipchick:cd

I would raise them just like every other chick. A nice size brooder so all the chicks have ample room. Provide even heat so there is no bunching or piling. And give them good feeder and water space. I would probably say for that number of chicks....

One....1 gallon waterer
Two.....Plastic Range chick feeders

And that should do you good. Just keep a close eye on them. I would use Pine shavings for bedding, with paper towels over the shavings for the first couple of days.
