I love my Speckled Sussex. Really sweat birds. Some lay tinted eggs and others lay white. Not sure about how many eggs a year due to the fact that mine are often broody. Great mothers by the way. They tend to say in my back yard when I let them out in the day. They also do well in confinement. They are very colorful and can be breed to look all different. I have some that are different than common photos being mostly white and others mostly bright red. All of them are speckled.
