I'm getting ducklings!

Mine are outside in converted utility closet, but they still have a light since it is freaking SNOWING again!!!!

Anyway, it maintains the closet at about 78º. My ducks are 3 weeks and 2 weeks old.

Thanks they are 2 weeks old i will move them to that pen and they will have more wiggle room

I will keep the light on i use a 100 watt bulb is that warm enough??

Just get a thermometer so you can check the temp. Adjust the light either up or down to get the right temp.

I put my waterer up on 2 bricks. I saw that done at the farm store where I got mine. Makes a huge difference in the wet mess!! Also put mine outside after just 2 weeks. Put heat in the house for 2 nights and then seemed they didn't need it. They are just about 4 weeks old and are outside in 30 degree nights. They are sure sturdy!
