Y'all. I have a PLAN. A perfectly good breeding plan that involves waiting until February to implement it and I come here and it's just whole forums of chicks! And hatching eggs! Remind me that I don't want to brood babies in winter, that I need a whole month to get the right roo x hen combo, and that I DEFINITELY need to stay away from websites that sell hatching eggs. All the fuzzy babies and exciting hatch days are making me itch, and I need to wait another two months!

If your birds are in a mixed flock, separate out your breeders now so that hens can be cleared of sperm from undesired roosters - that can take up to 4 weeks. Collect and incubate eggs - another 4 weeks or so Time to start now. :p Hey, you also need to start building your brooders and stocking up with supplies. Glad to help/enable.
