Im getting mold on the floor of my run, Please Help!!

Hi everyone, Im knew here.
Hope some one can give me some good advice. I just noticed I have white fluffy mold growing on the floor of my covered run. I have a hanging feeder so its off the ground. But there is some feed around it on the ground the my chickens have knocked out. There is mold growing all around it. What should I do? whats safe to use around my chickens?

Just clean it and keep it dry. Chlorine bleach kills mold efficiently and once dry won't hurt the chickens. Is it on wood, concrete or soil?
Is it outside or inside the coop?

Spray some bleach on it and that will kill all the mold

I had that happen once this spring. Chickens has been dumping their food out of the feeder, and it had been raining, so the food that was under the feeder (on the ground, not hanging) was pretty fuzzy. I just scraped it out with a shovel. Hasn't come back since.

I did some reading on mold and what is an effective way to kill mold but is also safe for my chicks. I actually settled on vinegar. I wanted to clean the wood inside my coop. Bleach is good for surface cleaning but the component that soaks into wood is actually the water part of bleach which promotes mold growth. Bleach is also an insecticide and an herbicide. White distilled vinegar kills mold and can prevent future mold growth when used on porous surfaces. I just bought a pump sprayer with a wand nozzle from the hardware store for about $12-$13, fill it with vinegar and spray it everywhere. Safe for the chicks and doesn't kill plants and bugs that they will eat.

im getting that mold too, though some of mine is black.. its on the out side coop part & in the yard fr spilt food..i did scrape w a shovel but more got split & come back then I noticed outside too..raining a lot. I think ill try sprayin vinegar.. cause im nervous ab them eating any of it off ground when foraging, that can hurt them right?
I see a lot of people use the round hanging.. that's what I have on bricks so off ground, I was going to get plant hangers to hang them from outside coop, but have been thinking of getting the trough kind & nailing it to outside ledge. I know it will still get split. what do u think ab putting a square of that fake grass under it so its easy to pick up, clean off??any more ideas?

I made the feeder in this post and my chicks barely spill any food anymore. I have it set up on boards. They still drop some but not nearly as much as they did with the commercial feeder.

Make sure no feed is on the ground.
1. It rains
2. Feed on ground gets moist
3. Feed on ground gets moldy (Eww)
I have problems with my feed getting moldy in the feeder and I myself don't know how to control that.
Do the chickens eat it if they want to know what it is? (the mold)

I just don't want them to die.
