I'm getting some silkies! Update pics!

Here they are! how do they look? What the heck colours are they going to be? She had all different colours together so any guesses?

the white one is DaVinci then Tesla, Frankenstein and Einstein on the far right.

We are getting 4. they are close to kamloops BC. She says she has all colors so I'm going to pick when I get there

I remember how excited i was to get my first silkies. I drove quite a ways to get them. They are funny little creatures LOL

I have wanted silkies for a while and tried my hand at hatching eggs but i failed so i gave up for a while.

YAY Congrats!!!!

The advice I can give is research colors now. If you want to breed for select colors it's best to go there already with the knowledge of which colors breed best to which colors. LIke me, I love the blue black and splash..... and blue black and splash when bred together give you more of the same thing blue black and splash (blue to blue is a large percentage of splash etc).....black to splash is 100% blue etc

Those color combos are like the only one i know in chickens

so im no help with others but that's what i'd reccomend you do. OR if you dont care what colors they produce even if they aren't showable then get what ever birds you fall in love with there
