I know, but I gotta go with a purpose! hehe I know the ones locally don't carry them. The TSC will, but I want to go TODAY and get some and they won't carry them until next week. ROFL

You know what even if there are no chickies it is still fun going. I swear I go in there and like oh oh i gotta get me one of those and well happy birthday to me and i get it lol

I am jealous!! We have two local places that carry chicks, TSC and Soldans. I talked to Soldans and they are not getting chicks until mid April!! Usually TSC has that around the same time. WAHHHHH!!! Not fair!! How come all of yours get them so early??? I know it is cold here, but some of you are from cold states too, aren't you?

Every year there are chicks at our local Agway. That was how I decided I wanted chickens last year

But, this year I wanted to order a few to replace the ones we lost last year, and they are ordering later than usual- I think they didn't get their act together. So, our chicks will be in store late March, they think.

Of course, now my SO has decided to try letting our girls set their own eggs this year instead of buying babies and brooding them in the house.

Oh my! I may be in even more trouble! I called my neighbor to ask if she still had an incubator for sale and she told me about a guy locally that sells chicks for $1 each! He has 3000 hens! OH MY GOODNESS! He sells a dozen eggs for 1.25 or a chick for $1 each. I HAVE TO get his number and see what he has! ROFL

I am in soooo much trouble!!!
