Ok I must confess, I borrowed her from my mother. She is a proven broody who hatches a clutch at least 3 times a year.
She is a VERY good mother and would make a great tutor! She has even adopted one day old chicks that had been slipped under her at night when her eggs didn't hatch. I swear, this girl LIVES to raise babies!
THe funniest thing is, you put an egg in front of her when she is on her nest, and she will LITERALLY take it from you! It could be BO egg, a bantam egg, ANY egg....she is an egg HOG!!
