I have water and elec in my coop. I thought about the float valve/bucket but I'm leaning towards a water bar. Here's what I think I will need to do the job.

One 1 1/2" PVC pipe 6' long w/end cap.
Five clamps to hold water bar to support bar
One steel support bar
Two five foot chains to suspend waterer from ceiling.
One Regulator and adapter.
Six 360 Super Flow Push-In nipples. (drill six 3/8" holes one foot apart in PVC pipe.
Water Hose connector and adapters
Electric Heater rope for winter and insulation wrap. (extra)

I saw one sold for $135.00 and know I can build one for a third of that. Plus, I like to build. I found all the parts on line except the regulator. Anyone know where to get one? Also I'd like additional suggestions. frankoo

HI we have a regulator on our campers. So I would try and go to the RV section of your local hardware store or wherever and they might have it there.

Hope this helps,
