Put up signs locally. Include a pic and description of your dog along with a description of the truck. You never know someone may recognize the vehicle.

We live somewhat close to a high school and there are always kids speeding up and down our road. I use big rocks. Only takes once for them to slow down.

I had posted a add on freecycle to see if anyone has seen him. He was spotted about 8 or 9 miles from here on one of the CR roads.
We went and searched for him but nothing, added another posting hopefully someone will see him and grab him, he's gonna learn what a chain is if he ever gets home from his little joy ride

We lock up cats and other animals around halloween here too. o_o;

I've also read that dogs with tattoos can't be used in a lab for testing...? Just make sure to put it on his stomach if you were to have it done by your vet though, because you can cut ears off, and you can get legs amputated...

People do some sick stuff.

Hope your pup comes back! My dog's run off with the previous neighbor's dog before for four days. In the middle of winter! Had to drag him to the vet for his torn up paws... Idiot.

If he's off on his own free will, he should be back sooner or later if all goes well. Have hope!
