I hope that you can be able to tell from this pic if this is my rooster?? His name is Tom (host of dancing with the stars)

my daughter just loves the show, we have all the girls from the show-hopefully we don' have any of the other boys?





I hope you can see the dark brown on the bottom good enough and the light colored one standing up straight. Can you tell me what kind these are? I'm sure they are not pure bred but would still like to know. Is the one that is standing up a roo? Hope not because her name is ezmae, the little dark one is alice-yes we have several themes going on here.

Any guesses would be great! I just love my girls..im going to try to get some better pics...

If the colors of the photo are right, the first bird is a male Black Sex-link. The red and brown washes on him give him away.

They both look like roosters. Looks like the result of a Barred Rock mixed with a solid colored bird.

Both cockerels. Both mixes. Not BR although, obviously, there is barring in their genetic background.

well i was afraid of that

but it's never for certain when you get them from the feed store. seems like i might have to rehome at least two of them. i told my daughter that we could keep tom till the little ones are big enough to breed. the small ones are easter eggers and golden laced polish. i am going to try to get a pic of the other one im not certain of. so my count now looks like we have 4 roos. hmmmm now decision time. i DO NOT want that many roos...my daughter is going to be so upset

. she just loves them all...


does anyone have a thought about the bottom dark one? i know what the black one is-bantam cochin. i have two of the dark brown ones, which i think one of them is a rooster. i guess ezmae will have to be jacob or edward now....hmmm that will be a decision. i have team jacob and team edward in my house
