well, i started out just wanting one sebsastopol gosling, well the lady i got her from has about 25 different kinds of waterfowl and she gave me the grand tour of her farm. she told me waterfowl really don't do well with chickens and that she'd give me a free pekin duckling with my sebastopol female gosling and 2 sebastopol eggs. ok, i said, that would be awesome. little did i know...

now i'm going back to her place today to pick up a male sebastopol gosling and i've added a crested pekin male and female duckling to my order from Ideal that's coming the 18th!! i'm going to try and hold back and just get 1 gosling today. SEND HELPFUL VIBES!!

Well good luck! I agree, waterfowl and chickens are not meant to live together. I like each type of fowl to have their own spaces.

well, i did it! i only came home with one sebastopol gander. he's very manly looking with a big roman looking face. i haven't quite decided on a name yet.

It just keeps going. Soon you will want guineas, or Muscoveys or chickens.

It soon becomes more work to control their numbers than it does to care for them.
