I'M IN A PANIC...NEED ADVISE...MY PEAHEN IS

See they are good hiders in plain site,so far i have found that none of my pea nest any farther than 200 feet from my house. they know where it is safe

Are you home all the time?

Most days I am home for the entire day.....Friday of last week I was not as my daughter was in the hospital
but normally I am here....

we live in the middle of a working apple and peach orchard with a pond out back, beyond that more apple trees
then wooded area outlines the back between property lines...encasing 4 or more acres....the entire orchard
is just over 150 acres.....think the birds know our borders but who knows.....about a 1/2 acre east of the house is
a bank where brush is pushed up and I have combed that many times but who knows....the peas do have a spot
near the bank and pond that is heavy with hiding places but haven't spotted her yet....

you would think the other peafowl would 'sense' her out...they are still calling...

Critters- my hen got off the nest today, around 11:30 a.m. So maybe its a good time to check. This is the only hen that I've had nest, so far she hasn't nested more than 20' from the house. Twice on my deck in a dog house, and once in a brooder I wasn't using against the garage. So look close to the hours or her shelter.

day six and still no sign of Jade......

well, if she is nesting, she might have 3 eggs? so guessing
I might see her in 28 days if she stays safe???

I sure do miss her.....no sightings @ 11:30 either...

guess I'll pray for her safety and hope to see her again...
