I love my two "golden boys," as I call them. They are huge partridge Brahmas. They love each other, too - they have to because everybody else treats them like they have the plague! My problem is this. They work together, singling out a hen and taking turns mounting her repeatedly. One will hold her head while the other does his manly thing, and then they switch off. Usually my alpha Roo, Rocky (or little serama roo, Romeo) will come tearing across the yard and knock them off, but sometimes they are too far away and don't notice.

Is this a "teenager" thing that they will grow out of, or are they just bad to the bone? They are about 8 months old. I love them both and would hate to give one of them up, but I also don't want them killing my hens. I"d appreciate any advice.

Sorry to say but its my experience that it will not stop or even slow down. They always have to out do each other.
