With my new r-com 20 that came today
big_smile.png
I just plugged it in and not much else. Well, I put my springfield thermo/hydro and my digital meat thermo in there to see how they matched up. At 40% humidity on the r-com the springfield reads 25% and at 70% on the r-com it reads 47%. No wonder why I keep having trouble!!! I did calibrate the thing but it it seems it is off by a different amount. Good thing is that my digital meat thermometer is spot on. I put it back in the LG w/ forced air and get a different reading every time I move it to a new spot. Hoping I can now get the LG right so that I can use it for a hatcher since the r-com doesn't hold too many eggs.

Thank you

I think I lost what was in there last night

Power went out at 4:30 yesterday and didn't come back on until 8 this morning and I coundn't get the generator started. Luckly these were just my own eggs. I need to get a better plan in place before my bantam lavendar ameraucana's get here next week.

You might not have lost them. From what Ive read on here from others posting, the hens will get off the eggs and feed and use the lady chicken room so maybe they are ok. Id keep them in and candle them in a few days see if anything is moving. Good luck!!
