For some reason the white on a Delaware looks very very soft to me.. Makes me wanna snuggle it

They actually are very soft! Oh, Cher, I looked at your album of the kids you took from here. They look great! I see some nice markings on the Del boys.

Beautiful boys !!!!!!!!! Eventually I think I might like to have some dels, but gonna wait til I end up in more permanent housing than I am in now. I hate to build a lot of coops and runs to just have to move everything in the next year lol

I can't wait to see how the boys keep growing !!!

Well, Cher will have whichever boy I don't choose for my Delaware flock sire, so one of these will be living at her place.

and since I first got chicks back in feb I think our clients are more surprised when they come into the clinic and there aren't chicks behind the front desk even tho we are a small animal practice hehehe sooo seeing another chicken in the hospital won't surprise anyone

Oh, does the del standard have any regulations on the amount of barring around the neck, etc ? or is it more personal preference ?
