I'm just soooo done with shipped birds!!! So mad right now!

I'm understanding that now. The mites aren't a huge issue....I'm just really worried about the blister on her foot and her not being able to walk...still waiting for the seller to contact me...

Never had any sick birds from anyone, knock on wood!

I hope your bird does not have bumblefoot, otherwise, it would be a messy job. Other than that, wish you all the luck with getting all the TLC on your birds.

I have an awesome, very expensive camera but I really suck at taking pics...especially close ups. The blister is on the right of her toes in the pics if you can see it. It's a whitish color.

Ok.....from the pics I've seen on BYC for bumblefoot...it don't seem like she has that. None of her toes look swollen at all. She's a Silkie so her feet are black but the blister looking thing is a whitish/greyish color. It's softer and I don't notice any black scabs like I read. So I'm going to keep searching

ETA: The "blister" or bubble or whatever does not seem like its filled with much or anything at all. I'm so confused! I've seen pics where the bubble is so filled with stuff & big...hers isn't like this? I wish I could get better pics. I'm going to the store in a little to get some epsom salts to soak her foot. Will update later. I hope somebody can help cause I'm clueless

If you do not see a scab/black spot, it could be an infection from something puncturing the area etc...something she stepped on. I would try a warm epson salt soak and watch it...see if it needs to be lanced and packed with triple antibiotic ointment (without pain reliever).

Poor girl. I am sorry you have had such a bad time with shipped birds.
