Nothing wrong with winging it, most of us are doing exactly that
However, your elevator on your left wing needs trimming....
Chicken wire is okayish for keeping chickens in but hopeless at keeping predators out!
You would make much less of a spiral nose dive if you used weldmesh/hardware cloth.

This chicken wire was all I could afford right now. Iv doubled it on the bottom and will do the same on the top.
Iv only just began building it .
Still designing as I go and the plan is to have another perimeter around it.
Its on the porch right by the front door right now since winter is coming. There is a socket there for implementing a heat source.
I will be working on the backyard to make a play area/run that is safe.

I still need to figure out how I am going to make a waste tray for the coop for easker cleaning.
I will post updates as I go along for anyone who is interested in the progress.

I also plan on securing the coop itself with another layer of wall..when I figure out what I am goung to use lol.
August wont be using it until its all done and secure
