Yours wears the cell phone at it's ear? I swear mine don't know how to talk on it! Their fingers fairly fly, though, as they send 20 texts a minute to all their buddies.

Mine aren't into name brands, they're into stores, such as Hot Topic where everything comes with studs and sarcasm, usually in shades of grey & black.

Gate, I already torment my currently non-driving teen. Can't tell you how many choruses of "If I Only Had a Brain" I've hummed as she tried to remember what she walked into the room ten minutes ago to tell me. Took her 6 months to realize what I was I was humming, too...

I remember the Hot Topic Stage, grey & black feathering. Back than she was a Sarcastic Mouth, but progressed to SER, with a too expensive, but prettier types of plumage! Expect this stage soon with your own females!

These critters do NOT take subtle hints. Humming tunes does no good. I need to call my mother, Im certain she would have advice for me.

And no, they don't take subtle hints. But the humming calmed me and (according to the critter) caused me to smile an evil smile and it worried her. I like it when these critters are worried!

I apoloigized to "dear old mom", years ago. She has this strange twinkle in her eye everytime she sees the young critter. The woman is plain evil

Snipe hunting was done with a flashlight, a stick and a bag if I remember correctly.

Funny, on the topic of snipe....
My father used to live near the beach, there they would take new-comers on "snipe" hunts. They would explain that snipes were all black with a white stripe on their backs, while looking something like a skunk, they were ENTIRELY different.

HAH! All the Newbie had to do was stand there with the sack, and all the others would chase the "snipe" to him. There were really a LOT of skunks there, so they could always count an chasing something stinky towards the New-bie. He said they would always chicken out when they saw the skunks coming... I guess different areas have different Traditions!

Well I guess the Redheaded Webfooted Camo Chicken is in hiding but I know they exist.

I can remember not to many years ago, a critter rose up off its haunches. It eagerly declared that when the earth traveled 18 times around the sun they would bound swiftly from the clutches of "suppression".

The earth has traveled its appointed number of trips, yet, the critter remains! Recently he requested a picture of Thomas Jefferson and one of Andrew Hamilton etched on a woven piece of paper. I reminded the smelly, loud obnoxious creature of his pledge to flee the tyranny imposed on him for the previous 17 revolutions of our planet.

A look of shock and awe swept across his brow; followed by a bellow of, "You want me to leave?" :O

With his pride crushed, somehow he managed to make it out the door with Hamilton and Jefferson in tow. He looked backed once, to say - "Thanks Dad. I love you. I'm not going anywhere."
