I currently have 5 chickens in my backyard flock, only to recently learn that one of them is a "rooster". I will be relocating him on August 8th, and would like to replace him with another laying hen. My other ladies are about 10 weeks old right now, so I thought it may be nice to introduce them to an older hen who is already laying.
My flock is treated like royalty!!! They have a lovely little coop and a half acre to free range. Only organic feed here along with tons of veggie treats every day. All of my neighbors come visit them and keep them very socially interested in people.
