IM LOOKING TO MAIL A DOZEN EGGS TO NEW YORK

anyone have any luck with mailing eggs, i already sent one dozen and when they arrived (sent POST OFFICE) every egg was broken, thought i packed them well.....my mom would love to have my chickies eggs ...any help would be appreciated

I have never had any break using this method!

How did you package them?
Did you use the egg foamy thing?

no, i used a hard plastic egg carton and put bubble wrap around it in a box...., what method of the mail system did you use, where do you get that foamy stuff

I individually wrap each egg in bubble wrap, then pack in pine shavings (air cell end up!)

Nice layer of shavings on the bottom, make sure no eggs are touching each other, then a layer of shavings on top.
