Well, my Easter Egger is laying daily at 7 years old. I don't think my Brahmas will even come close.

Yes, they’re hatchery birds. 2 years old

Mine were from Meyer and laid 4 eggs per week average. If you are used to production breeds bred to crank out eggs or hybrids then a Brahma would be considered a very poor layer. I have all heritage breeds so I would say “acceptable”. It can be an apple and orange comparison depending on what you are comparing them too.
