So... as some know... my pigeons hatched tow chicken eggs 5 and a half months ago... they both have hatched and grew up into a beautiful rooster and a magnificent pullet... she started laying on the second of November.... we're just in love!!! Her brother mates with the other hens and sometimes with her.... our neighbors have tow roosters.... one is alpha... and doesn't let the other one come near his hens.... sooo he used to visit us and our old hens etc.... our lands and properties are opened... the animals free range all day.... so that rooster is now focusing on my newly laying pullet.... isaw her coming with him today when I called her for treats.... I was abit surprised..... but didn't care much as he comes often.... then when she finished eating she went back to roam.... I went to my neighbors randomly who are a bit far... and saw her with him... following him... and gowing further and closer to their coop.... I was shocked... and panicked.... she always come back to roost... but they never ever went that far away.... they have more land than they need on ou property.... and we have a strong young rooster... and plenty of food and water and treats and love.... she just had a crush on that roo.... I hate him.... only she goes with him there.... the others stay closer.... what do u suggest...... how can I stop her or him from doing that... Please don't tell me to fence etc.... as our properties are big and we don't like to confine our birds in runs etc... also the land here holds fruit trees.... so it's gonna be hard to pop out a fence in the middle....
Any suggestions are very welcome..... and thanks in advance.....

Well, if you're not willing to fence or contain your birds, there really isn't anything you can do to stop it since you've been fine with the flocks co-mingling all along.

Thank u for ur replies.... lol... yeah maybe nothing can stand in front of true love.... lol....
I'm gonna try keeping them confined in their coop for a week so they will get more attached to each other... and mate more.... but I'm afraid I'll stress her out.... and she'll stop laying eggs... yeah... because she doesn't lay in the coops nest boxes... she lays in our house...lol... so I made her a simple cutie nest box... and she loves it... and it's easier for us too... and lets be honest.... we love it that way ..lol

As a father of two girls, my FAVORITE tee shirt ever said this: DADD (Dads against Daughters Dating) Then it read, "shoot the first one, the word will spread"!

Maybe put the roo in a pot of stew....... :)
