Hi. I'll be going by Luna Phase here, but I've also gone by Moon on other bird forums.

I have several roosters and a bantam hen. Almost all of my birds are at least two years old. I have a large red rooster we call Red who acts more like a guard dog than a rooster. I have three bantams.

Red Rooster, Red, he's gonna be three. He's free ranged.

Cream and white rooster Ollie, he's almost seven.
Gray and dappled Nibel, she's barely turning two.
Red and feather-footed Obi, he's barely turning two. He's also my only other free range.

I have a ton of questions, but those will be slow coming as I learn how things work and meet people. I do not raise my birds for show or meat. Sometimes I collect the bantam eggs to feed to my finch.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

BYC has a Learning Centre and also Topic of the Week articles which I have found to be a great resource and a one stop shop for questions which may have already been discussed within the BYC membership group.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)
